Two things you should both own: Xiaomi notebook and Xiaomi tablet

Modern people often encounter a problem: I should buy a good quality laptop or a good quality tablet? In fact, I think, whether it is a tablet or laptop, each has its own irreplaceable advantages. They can each play their own strong role in our lives and make our entertainment and work more convenient.

The advantages of a Tablet PC
1. Tablet PC is really really light and thin. As a result, tablets are flexible and easy to carry because of their small size and lightweight. For example, the xiaomi mipad2 is just 6.95mm thin and weighs 322g but has the 7.9-inch retina screen so the viewing experience is so much comfortable than a cellphone.

2. Have the same operating system as a smartphone. Whether it is the iOS system or Android system like the xiaomi mipad2, they are very much in line with modern habits pursuing simplicity and fastness. People can download their favorite apps from the online store, so people can play games, browse YouTube, read novels and much more on a screen a few times bigger than their phone wherever they like.

1. The technical content of a laptop is, of course, the highest, if you need to use some of the more advanced professional programs, only the notebook drive processor can complete the task. Some office applications, such as Excel or Word that need to use the keyboard typing, etc., people are often still accustomed to using a laptop. The xiaomi mi air, with the most powerful Intel Core i5-6200u Dual Core 2.3GHz, Up to 2.8GHz CPU, NVIDIA Geforce GT 940MX Integrated Graphics GPU, will provide you the most fluid user experience so that you can focus on your project without any distraction and annoyance.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air, the First Notebook for Youth

On the day, July 27, 2016, Xiaomi released its long-rumored product, Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air, with two versions, 13.3-inch and 12.5-inch. With the ultra-thin metal body and commendable performance, Xiaomi Mi Air, it was claimed, should be the first notebook for youth. And now, let’s check it in detail.

Display

Both of the two versions feature Full HD display (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). And the 24" definition is 1.8 times the desktop monitor. The same resolution may bring the different display effects. The screen border of Mi Air is narrow, only 5.59mm, causing the higher proportion of the screen. The brimless protective glass leads to that there is no longer projecting border surrounding, making you focus more in use.

A technology called full lamination condenses the air layer in the screen assembly 4 times less, reducing the glare caused by the refraction of air, so that you can enjoy the excellent display both indoor and outdoor.

13.3-inch Version Specs

The 13.3-inch Xiaomi Mi Air comes with an Intel Core i5-6200U processor (up to 2.7GHz) with a discrete graphics card (discrete graphics cards are typically faster than their embedded brethren), to be exact, a NCIDIA GeForce 940MX GPU (with 1GB GDDR5 RAM), which is also one the most outstanding points of this novelty.

In addition, it gets 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, 256 GB of SSD via PCIE and one empty SATA slot for Xiaomi-serviced memory expansion. And with the built-in 40Wh battery that reportedly can charge to 50% in just half an hour via USB Type-C, Xiaomi Mi Air was claimed that it can support 9.5 hours of use. Other specs include a backlit keyboard, dual AKG speakers, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, a 1 MP webcam and a stylish metal construction with no pesky logo to put a sticker over.

Moreover, the 13.3-inch Mi Air weighs only 1.28 kg. And the most thickness is 14.8mm, even thinner than the cent coins.

12.5-inch Version Specs

Compared with the 13.3-inch Mi Air, the 12.5-inch Version comes with some lighter specs, including an Intel Core M3 6Y30 CPU (up to 2.2GHz) with no dedicated GPU but Integrated graphics, Intel HD Graphics 515, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB SSD via SATA (again, with one free PCIE slot), and only one USB 3.0 port. But it still gets metal body, 1 MP webcam, HDMI port and dual AKG speakers.

This model weighs 1.07 kg and the most thickness is only 12.9mm, thinner than the 13.3-inch version. And the 37Wh battery can support up to 11.5 hours of use and rapid charging via USB Type-C.
